Event: In Support of Breast Cancer Awarenss Month in October Join Denise Monahan's, MD Webinar - CANCELED

We are delighted to welcome Breast Surgeon, Denise Monahan, MD to our 2022 Prevention & Wellness Webinar Series.  She is a highly trained health care provider who leads the breast surgery program and high-risk breast clinic at Lake Forest Hospital.

Dr. Monahan grew up in Florida before moving to Boston for college.  After college, she worked for a few years in Boston before moving back to Florida for medical school.  She completed medical school and general surgery training in Miami and then moved to Chicago to complete a breast surgical oncology fellowship at Northwestern Medicine in 2012.  She has been at Lake Forest Hospital since 2015.  Outside of work, she is busy spending time with her two children and husband. 

We will continue to use an informal “Fireside Chat” format.  There will be a brief presentation with a Question & Answer section to follow led by our very own
Dr. Steve Lasin, Dr. Sharon Berliant and Dr. Gary Schaffel.
