Position Summary:

We seek a Patient Services Coordinator to provide front line and high-quality phone support to patients and provide general administrative and reception support for our concierge practice. The Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring that our patients are treated responsively with care, respect, and patience.

Job Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Fielding calls and other inquiries from prospective patients
  • Helping to onboard new patients including scheduling “meet and greets” with the physicians and connecting with the patients as they integrate into the practice
  • Communicating by phone with patients regarding scheduling appointments for various office visits, including annual physical exams
  • Providing reminder calls for upcoming appointments
  • Answering patient phone calls, collecting information to direct to the appropriate staff
  • Conducting various administrative tasks including scanning, emailing, faxing, and other
  • Confirming patient demographics and insurance information are current
  • Collecting office visit fees
  • Providing other key areas of support to our team

Schedule:

  • M-Th - 8 am to 4 pm; Friday 8 am to 3 pm

Qualifications and Work Approach:

​Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least two years work experience
  • Familiarity with an electronic patient system is ideal, but not required
  • Experience using the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Flexibility and adaptability in working with patients, nurses, physicians, and other team members
  • Experience determining whom to direct phone calls and inquiries
  • Experience juggling a variety of tasks patiently and calmly
  • Ability to connect with patients on a personal level, understanding their concerns, and working to address their needs
