We are delighted to welcome Melanie Amin, LCSW – Clinical Director of Silver Lining Behavioral Health in Northbrook as our July 8th Prevention & Wellness presenter. The topic is “Sleep Solutions”.
Getting a “good night’s sleep” can be hard to come by. Join us as we learn more about CBT-I (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia), an evidence-based approach to helping people fall and stay asleep. Sleep hygiene, patterns of sleep, and strategies to improve sleep habits will be discussed. Learn new ways to help you feel less worried and more rested.
Melanie Amin has over 20 years of clinical experience working with adults of all ages, she is well-versed in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and utilizes a strength-based approach to emotional healing. In addition to her work as a therapist, Melanie has worked actively as a social worker with older adults, in community settings, and in hospice.
This program will be held at our Highland Park Office; 799 Central Ave. Suite 100 at 5:30pm CST. Registration is required. There is limited seating. Seating will be based on first-come, first-served.
