Join the FF Doctors & Staff for a Morning Walk

Have you ever heard the expression, "Walking your way to better health"?  Well, there is truth to this notion.  There is the added benefit of walking with others.  Benefits of walking can include the following:

  • Strengthen bones
  • Reduce excess fat
  • Boost muscle power
  • Improve brain health
  • Boost immune function
  • Lower blood sugar
  • Improve sleep
  • Help prevent certain diseases
  • Improve mental health

Lake Forest Medical Suite
990 S. Waukegan Rd., 2nd Floor - Every Wednesday - Start Date: 5/7/25, End Date: 9/24/25

Northfield Medical Suite
622 Willow Rd., Suite 101 - Every Thursday - Start Date: 5/8/25, End Date: 9/25/25


Time:

 8:00 to 8:45 am - Weather Permitting
While we require registration, come when you can - you are welcome at one or more of the walking days.


Parameters & Registration:

Registrants need to be able to walk for 30 minutes (approximately 1.5 miles) unassisted on a flat terrain. Please contact Marti at mgreenberg@forwardfocusmed.com by April 30th if you wish to join our Walking Club. North Shore Community and Forward Focus patients welcome. We need your contact information to keep you informed of any changes in our walking schedule due to inclement weather. Complimentary offering.
