Dr. Tirovolas is delighted to join Forward Focus Concierge Medicine, where she provides the kind of thoughtful, personalized care that has always been central to her practice. She values having the time to truly listen to her patients, understand their concerns and priorities, and help them achieve their optimal level of health. Dr. Tirovolas takes a comprehensive approach to health, reviewing medical records, history, medications, and lifestyle factors that may be impacting health, then making personalized treatment recommendations that fit within a patient’s age, stage of life, and goals.

Dr. Tirovolas believes excellent primary care should be collaborative and thorough. With a warm, calming demeanor, she takes the time to get to know her patients beyond just their symptoms, learning about lifestyle, family, stressors, and cultural factors so she can fully understand each person. She believes that strong physician-patient relationships are built on trust, communication, and shared decision-making. Her patients appreciate the personalized attention and genuine care she brings to every visit.

With an emphasis on prevention and chronic disease management, Dr. Tirovolas clearly explains diagnoses and treatment options so patients can make informed decisions. She has extensive experience and training in women’s health and enjoys caring for women throughout every stage of life, from contraception and family planning through menopausal care and hormone replacement therapy. With a strong interest in lifestyle medicine, she addresses healthy aging and longevity, mental health, nutrition, exercise, and other non-medical interventions that can impact overall health. She also takes an individualized approach to weight management, including the use of GLP-1 medications when appropriate, while helping patients develop sustainable habits that support long-term health.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Tirovolas loves spending time with her husband and two school-age children, exploring nature, and walking their energetic Greek English Setter. She also enjoys fitness and spin class, the calming nature of gardening, and reading both fiction and books related to health and medicine. Dr. Tirovolas grew up in the Chicago area and has deep ties with the community. She is fluent in Greek, and sensitive to how cultural background and family history can influence health.

Board certified in Internal Medicine, she received her medical degree from Rush University Medical College and completed her Internal Medicine residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin. She served as a primary care physician for over 15 years at Northshore University Medical Group and Northwest Community Healthcare Group before joining Forward Focus. As a lifelong learner, she stays current with advances in medicine and preventive care through membership in The Menopause Society, the American College of Lifestyle Medicine (ACLM), and the American College of Physicians. Dr. Tirovolas maintains hospital privileges at Highland Park, Glenbrook, Evanston, Skokie, Northwestern Lake Forest, and Northwest Community Hospitals. She prides herself on offering the highest quality of care for patients, and is grateful for the opportunity to develop long-term, close relationships with patients and to be an active partner on their health care journeys.
